A little bit off the beaten path in Fushimi, this bar’s best points are its no smoking policy indoors and its outdoor patio - a great place to hang out on a warm spring or fall day. They also offer western food (burgers, nachos, poutine) and a selection of international beers. The second floor has a large party room that sometimes hosts musical events and NagoyaComedy’s bimonthly stand up comedy shows.

Good beer, and as a Canadian, it was fun to get a Japanese / Canadian experience in a restaurant. They were evening serving Canadian Thanksgiving Dinner!

This is a fantastic pub. Co-owned by a Kiwi and a Canuck, the atmosphere displays this. Has great food and drink. Hosts events and free use of the facilities. Second floor is great meeting and event space. Staff are super friendly.

Relaxing place to watch rugby!

This was a nice chill place to relax. The bar was great and the atmosphere on the first floor is perfect for relaxing and grabbing a bite to eat. The burger was good. It was a nice place. I liked how it was somewhat hidden on the main street until you are standing right in front of it. The upstairs was OK but the first floor was really nice.

At lunch, we ate grilled caledria. Spices are not very effective for lunch, so there is no problem with business from noon. Soft-boiled eggs are working.The volume is not loose.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. No other customers during our Sunday afternoon dinner. Food was very good, but expensive for what you get. It is good comfort food for foreigners though. The towel given upon arrival smelled delightful throughout dinner.

Great place to go for expats living in Nagoya. Has plenty of drinks on tap and a good selection of appetizers. I don't recommend going there for a full meal, however, as we did and it took quite a while.

Fantastic food, great atmosphere, and the friendliest staff I have encountered in Nagoya. Every one of them speaks fluent English and Japanese and you will be welcomed like a member of the family. I can't recommend this place more. Check it out!

Very nice food in this English pub and decent beer. Even opened when the typhoon was on which was great. Friendly staff too.

I unexpectedly stumbled into Coat of Arms during my visit to Japan. I really needed a taste of home after enduring my second second typhoon. This place was fantastic! Staff and customers were all smiling. The patio was wonderful. If I make it back to Japan, this is an off-the-beaten path sports bar I’ll visit again!

I had given up. I had wandered a desert of smoky izakayas and lost hope (was resigned to feeding my toddlers dinner from Lawson’s) before I saw that I could spend a balmy night on the pub’s patio with my boys. Great food, English and friendly service. Thanks!
